Xiaomi has announced the new Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G New Edition. It is a slight renewal of the Mi 11 Lite that the company announced in March of this year. The changes focus on the processor, which grows slightly in power compared to the previous generation, as well as in appearance, adding new colors to the back.
The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G New Edition continues to stand out for its slim just 6.81 mm thick. The terminal, as a novelty, comes with four new colors: a light blue called “Bubblegum Blue”, a pink baptized as “Peach Pink” and a white tone under the name “Snowflake White”. The classic black truffle also persists.
The Chinese firm has included a chipset Snapdragon 778G from the American Qualcomm, which works under a 6 nm architecture and also supports 5G networks. The processor change is due to the shortage of semiconductors, which seems to limit the number of units of the Snapdragon 780G – present in the Mi 11 Lite 5G – and, because of this, force the company to bet on a slightly lower model.
It remains intact, yes, the RAM and storage configuration. Xiaomi offers, on the one hand, an option with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, as well as another with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage. The most powerful variant includes 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. All accompanied with a 4,250 mA batteryh, same capacity as the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite. The fast charge, in addition, is 33W.
The Xiaomi 11 Lite New Edition maintains the 90 Hz on screen and the 64 megapixel camera
The screen of the Xiaomi 11 Lite NE is 6.55 inches. It is AMOLED panel with Full HD + resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) and with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, which goes up to 240 Hz in touch sampling. It also includes compatibility with Dolby Vision and HDR10 +.
The Xiaomi 11 Lite New Edition has the same camera setup as its predecessor. It is a triple camera with a configuration of 64 megapixels for the angular sensor, 8 megapixels for the ultra wide angle camera and 5 megapixels for the macro lens, which allows you to take pictures at close range. It also includes different photography modes to improve results in low light conditions and a multitude of options for video recording.
The front camera, meanwhile, is 20 megapixels. It is located in the front area of the screen.
The Xiaomi 11 Lite New Edition will hit the market in October. It will do so while maintaining the prices of the original version. The base model, which includes 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, will be sold for 400 euros, while the variant of 8 GB and 128 GB of storage can be purchased for 430 euros.
