The plan consists of four actions:
1.- Urgent damage assessment: Insurance companies will coordinate efforts to accelerate the valuation of damages, with flexible administrative processes such as: identification of policies, coverage and general conditions; use of evidence taken by insurers to accelerate payments and temporary suspension of processes in the creation of the file.
2.- Have advance payments: Once coverage is confirmed, advance payments will be available, without completing the evaluations at home and small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), as well as payments will be expedited.
The money can be used for debris removal or repairs to trigger recovery. There may be more than one advance payment, depending on the progress of the incident.
3.- 100% hurricane coverage on cars: All vehicles that have theft coverage, without material damage coverage, will have protection for the damage caused by the hurricane.
4.- Flexibility in the total car loss process: Flexibility in documentation in administrative procedures – deregistration of license plates and possessions), which may be postponed or included in the compensation.
