Xiaomi has finally presented its new high-end, the 13T and 13T Proboth belonging to a generation led by the flagship Xiaomi 13 Ultra. They are one of the most anticipated models of the year, mainly for offering quite attractive features at a reasonable price. There is no doubt that, in various markets around the world, it will become a best-seller for the brand. We review all its features below.
First we have to talk about the input device, the Xiaomi 13T. We are looking at a terminal that measures 162.2 mm x 75.7 mm x 8.49 mm. Its weight is just 197 grams. It has a 6.67 inch AMOLED screenwith resolution FHD+ (2,712 x 1,220 pixels) and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Be careful, because its brightness can reach 1,200 nits. At the top, the panel is perforated to give space for a camera for selfies 20 megapixels.
Internally, the Xiaomi 13T integrates a processor 4-nanometer MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra and an Arm Mali-G610 GPU. Your RAM memory can be 8GB or 12GB depending on the model chosen, while the UFS 3.1 storage is 256 GB. At the moment, the availability of other options has not been reported.
Now, it is in the photographic section where the Xiaomi 13T aims to distance itself from the rest of the segment. It has a Triple camera signed in conjunction with Leica with 50 MP (wide angle) + 50 MP (telephoto) + 12 MP (ultra wide angle) sensors. The manufacturer adds that the primary camera has a new coating that increases light transmission to the sensor, while at the same time reducing reflection.
Thanks to these new features, the Xiaomi 13T is capable of taking photographs in backlight or in adverse lighting conditions. It will be interesting to try its night mode to check it out. Regarding the video, it offers captures HDR10+ with 4K resolution and up to 30 FPS (frames per second).
Moving on to the battery, the Xiaomi 13T has a capacity of 5,000 mAh. The company says that the autonomy can be extended up to 14 hours. It has support for fast charging up to 67Wso you can charge it from 0 to 21% in a matter of 5 minutes.
In terms of connectivity, you can expect the usual in the high range. The Xiaomi 13T has support for Dual SIM, NFC, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and 5G networks.
Xiaomi 13T Pro, for the most demanding
The Xiaomi 13T Pro shares many of the specifications of its younger brother. It measures exactly the same and also incorporates a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel (with FHD+ resolution and up to 144 Hz).
The first differences are found inside. This model relies on a processor MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ —also 4 nm— and a GPU Arm Immortalis-G715. Video games will appreciate this last addition.
Its storage is UFS 4.0, which is noticeably faster than that of the Xiami 13T. Additionally, it is available in variants of 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB.
The Xiaomi 13T Pro camera, although on paper it is the same as the model described previously, increases its capture capabilities thanks to the chip. For example, you can record 8K videos at 24 FPSin addition to supporting 10-bit H.265 format.
In connectivity we also see an exclusive novelty: support for Wi-Fi 7.
The Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro are now available at a price of 649 euros, in the case of the Xiaomi 13T in its variant with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage; and 799 euros if we talk about the Xiaomi 13T pro in its version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory.
