From Qualcomm to MediaTek
Vivo has not wanted to bet on Qualcomm again in its economic model. Last generation we found the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460, which has been replaced in the Vivo Y21S by the MediaTek Helio G80. They are accompanied by 4 GB of RAM memory and 128 GB of internal memory, good storage, although little RAM. Its battery is 5,000mAh, with a fast charge of 18W.
The Vivo Y21S boasts a battery and a pretty nice rear, although power and connectivity are not its strong suit.
At the level of connectivity there are no great ambitions, this is a 4G terminal, with dual band WiFi, 3.5mm jack connection and USB type C port. No 5G for this proposal, which is designed for the most economical segment.
The camera of this phone makes the jump to 50 megapixels, although it is still accompanied by two testimonial sensors of two megapixels. The selfie features an 8 megapixel sensor, located in the device notch.
Versions and price of the Vivo Y21S
The Vivo Y21S is priced at 165 euros. Last year, its predecessor came in for 199 euros in the single 4 + 128 GB version, so we can expect a similar price for the new model. For the moment, there is no date on his arrival in Europe.
