Samsung’s last Unpacked event was a bit decaf, as there was no new device in the end. One of those absent was the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, the powerful Samsung tablet of which we now have its first leaks in the form of renders and specifications.
OnLeaks has created detailed renderings of what the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 would look like according to their information, with a design similar to that of the Galaxy Tab S7 FE. The filtration also includes some of its specifications, such as the 11 inch screen or the Snapdragon 888 on board.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 leaks
This year, Samsung’s launch schedule has been misplaced in part by a shortage of components and in part by the readjustment with the Note series. The renewal of Samsung’s most powerful tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, seems to also will be delayed until next year, and we still hardly knew anything about it.
OnLeaks breaks the first leak with a batch of renderings where we can see how this tablet would look from all angles. The straight edges and the vertical dual camera are kept at the rear. From a design point of view, one of the few changes is that a magnetic area for the S Pen on the back, instead of being on the sides.
We also know some details about its possible specifications. According to the source, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 would launch with Snapdragon 888, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage and would have dimensions of 253.75 x 165.30 x 6.24 mm.
As for the screen, the filtration tells us about 11 inches of diagonal with a resolution of 1600 x 2560, with an LCD panel and a refresh rate still to be confirmed. We still don’t know much about the cameras, but we do know about their battery: 8,000 mAh and with support for fast charging of 45W. We will have to wait a few months to find out more about it.
