The 96th edition of the Oscars, the great event of world cinema, is heating up its engines, and the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles is looking handsome to welcome the cream of the cinema. In charge of Pamplona restaurant Baserriberrithe Spanish presence in this gala will be more than strengthened after the nominations of The Snow Societyas well as Robot Dreamswho aspire to win three statuettes.

Without a physical prize, the chefs will return Iñaki Andradas, Luken Vigo and Danel Ortubaythose responsible for the Baserriberri restaurant, who are going to present one of their most famous pintxos at one of the official Oscar dinners.
“For us it is a pride go to an event like the Oscars and represent Navarra on this very special occasion,” explains Iñaki Andradas, head of the restaurant, about what he describes as “a unique opportunity to show the world the richness and excellence of Navarrese gastronomy.”
A milestone that travels hand in hand with the animated film Robot Dreams, produced in Navarra, and which aims to put the flavors of the Foral Community in the mecca of cinema, transporting part of the region’s landscapes with a pintxo where some of its most iconic ingredients come together.
Named as Navarra Dreamsthe pintxo in question consists of three parts. On the one hand, piquillo pepper hummus with Navarrese asparagus yolk. On the other hand, a smoked Pyrenean trout, accompanied by a crème fraîche and Iberian ham. Finishing off the whole thing with a foie mousse, served with orange marmalade and fried almonds.
Becoming the spearhead of the new wave of hospitality in Pamplona, as is also the case with establishments like Kabo, the Baserriberri Group’s American opportunity also coincides with a expansion moment of the brand itself, which in 2024 opened the Rojo y Negro restaurant in Donosti and in June 2023 they did the same with Hazia, in Vitoria.
