the series of The Last of Us is one of the most anticipated projects in charge of PlayStation Productions Y HBO. Many of us were hoping that the show would finally hit the streaming service at some point this year, but it looks like we’ll have to wait a while longer since according to its producers, the series won’t debut until 2023.
As part of a recent interview with dead line, CaseyBloys, content manager for hbomax, revealed that the series TLOU continues in its filming process, which will last throughout this year. In other words, we’ll have to wait until 2023 to see it.
“It will not come out in 2022, they are still filming in Canada. I imagine we will see it until 2023.
I’ve already seen a few episodes and I’m very excited. Craig Mazin did a great job with Chernobyl for us, he’s an excellent writer and director. What I have seen is incredible and it excites me a lot but we will not see it in 2022.”
Similarly, Peter Pascal, who will play Joel in the series, also said that “the project would live up to the video game”, but did not want to reveal many details about the behind the scenes. No way, we have to wait until 2023 to see how this adaptation turned out.
Publisher’s note: It is a pity that it will not come out this year, but I prefer that to rushing things and in the end we have a bad result. After all, TLOU is one of the most acclaimed games of all time and the project has to be successful.
