How is the real interest on your credit calculated?
They are obtained from the difference between the interest you paid for your credit throughout the year, less the inflation rate.
For example, if your loan was for 500 thousand pesos, with an interest rate of 10.45%; by subtracting the inflation rate, which in 2022 was 7.82%, real interest would be 2.63%. This would allow you to deduct up to 13,150 pesos in your annual statement.
