OnePlus, the Asian company now belonging to Oppo, has announced in China, which will be its flagship for at least the first half of 2023. We are talking, of course, about the OnePlus 11, which comes with the latest from Qualcomm, with a triple camera signed by Hasselblad, and with the return of features that the firm has been including in its mobiles, but which for some reason decided to eliminate in the latest versions. Among them, the Alert Slider.
OnePlus, in fact, has brought back the model that it decided not to announce in 2022; the base version of its flagship. The company, let’s remember, presented only the OnePlus 10 Pro at the beginning of last year. Although later, they launched the Oneplus 10T, with somewhat more up-to-date specifications, we never saw a standard version of this family, whose characteristics are usually slightly lower, but, as a point in favor, it was positioned in the market with a somewhat cheaper price. The latter is precisely what the OnePlus 11 comes to offer.
The new OnePlus smartphone, specifically, arrives with an appearance very similar to the OnePlus 10T, with a photographic module located on one side of the back and with a front with hardly any frames on the screen that, in this case, is completely flat. . Screen which, by the way, is 6.7 inches. It is an AMOLED panel with QHD + resolution, with an adaptive rate of up to 120 Hz.
In the aspect of OnePlus 11 we also see other interesting news. One of them is the Alert Slider, the famous button to silence notifications that is located on the side of the smartphone, and that returns with a clear objective: to recover the essence of the brand. Recall that the company removed this key on the OnePlus 10 Pro.
The latest from Qualcomm and triple camera signed by Hasselblad
Regarding performance, the OnePlus 11 mounts the latest Qualcomm processor, which is also one of the most powerful on the market: the Snapdragon 8 Gen. 2. This SoC is accompanied by two versions of 12 and 16 GB of RAM, as well as 256 and 512 GB of internal storage. All this, in addition, with a 5,000 mAh battery and a fast charge of up to 100W capable of charging 100% in about 25 minutes, indicates the company.
OnePlus has not neglected the photographic section of the OnePlus 11 either. In this case, we find ourselves with a triple camera developed together with Hasselblad, the Swedish camera manufacturer that has been collaborating with the Chinese company for years to offer better results in terms of image processing, as well as different modes and functions for the camera. Camera that is made up of a 50-megapixel main sensor, another 48-megapixel ultra-wide angle, and a third 32-megapixel telephoto sensor capable of taking pictures with a two-magnification optical zoom.
The OnePlus 11 also comes with significant improvements in terms of software thanks to OxygenOS 13, although in the Asian market it will be sold with ColorOS, Oppo’s customization layer.
