Technological evolution continues to evolve day by day; however, it still has bugs and glitches from time to time. One of the clearest examples is with Wifi, a tool that allows us to be connected with everyone, but that sometimes fails by disconnecting and leaving us unable to communicate with anyone. However, we can solve connection problems to stay connected.
The internet has become essential for our life and our day to day. And it is that everything revolves around him, that is why it is so necessary on our mobile. We need the internet to work, to investigate, to watch TV, to study and even to communicate with family and friends; even leaving aside calls and text messages, which in theory are the elementary functions of a phone.
The wifi is constantly disconnected
If your phone starts to disconnect constantly and previously did not have this fault, the error may be from the system. If the failure persists over time, the best thing to do to solve this situation is to create a backup copy of your phone and restore your phone to its factory state.
To perform this procedure you must go to the phone settings and select the Cloud and accounts option. There you must select press Copy and restore. Activate the Backup option and press the Restore data option.
After this process, your device should stop automatically disconnecting from Wi-Fi networks. If this procedure does not solve the error, it is best to take your equipment to a technical service.
The wifi is disconnected when the mobile is locked
If your phone connects normally to a Wi-Fi network but automatically disconnects every time you block it and you must connect it manually at every opportunity, it is most likely that Wi-Fi is set to disconnect and you will need to change those settings.
To do this you will have to go to the wifi settings, advanced options and deactivate the function called Activate wifi in suspension. After completing this last step, your phone should not have disconnection problems with each screen lock.
The Wi-Fi of my mobile is disconnected from the network but that of other devices does not
If it is the case that there is a Wi-Fi network and everyone who is with you can connect without problems except you, it is probably that your device has a virus, an application that is interfering with the Wi-Fi connection, or the Wi-Fi of your mobile has been damaged due to some hit on your device.
If the case turns out to be for one of the first two reasons, you could install an antivirus on your device, put the phone in airplane mode and then deactivate it or restart the mobile. This would be enough to solve the problem.
If, on the contrary, the error is due to a failure of the Wi-Fi of your device, the most viable solution is to take the mobile for technical service.
My phone no longer connects to Wi-Fi networks
If your device stopped connecting to your home Wi-Fi network, two things are possibly happening:
- Network settings such as IP address and DHCP do not match
- The waves emitted by the Wi-Fi network are generating interference and the signal is not reaching the mobile device.
To solve problems related to the first case, it is recommended to update the device software, this will restore the Wi-Fi settings of your device, and, therefore, it will connect as usual.
To update the software go to phone settings, press the status update option, check if there are a newer version and update.
To avoid the conflict of interference make sure that your router is in a high area, that it is not blocked by cardboard or metal and away from other devices that emit waves, just as radio would.
