If you are a fan of Halo, and did you ever wish you could get on board a Warthog in real life then your time has come. A couple of months ago, with the purpose of promoting the movie of Free Guy, Xbox carried a life-size replica of the Warthog to the premiere of New York. Now, those responsible for this model have published a video that details its creation process.
Hoonigan, a popular channel of Youtube, was responsible for creating this Warthog (in collaboration with Xbox), and through a new video, they have detailed the steps they followed to do it.
It’s certainly a fascinating look at the initial stages of the manufacturing process, as well as how much fun it was to drive the car to the premiere. Similarly, it is revealed that this Warthog has certain features that make it a beast. In the official description of the video you can read the following:
“Join car nerds and video games! We teamed up with Microsoft and Halo to build a real Warthog (M12-FAV) of the new Halo Infinite but of course we added our own twist… We took a Ford V8 like Hoonicorn’s and added two turbos.
But this car isn’t just a demo, it actually works. With a fully functional suspension system, and wheels capable of navigating off-road, our Halo Warthog is a machine that can jump, crawl and everything you would expect from an Ultra4 racing vehicle that you can find in King of Hammers. “
Hoonigan He mentioned that they will release more videos in the future about this Warthog, and here we leave you a gallery with a few images that show the vehicle in detail:
