The OnePlus 10 Pro it is official in Europe, although there were no longer any great secrets to be revealed about it. At the beginning of this year, the Chinese brand had given us practically all the features of its new high-end smartphone, but its definitive appearance in the region was missing.
In a way, the OnePlus 10 Pro repeats part of the formula that we already saw with its predecessor – the OnePlus 9 Pro – but changes enough to maintain its appeal. After all, on the design side, the huge rear camera module that it has developed generates a lot of attention. again in collaboration with Hasselbladwhich merges with the side frame.
The aesthetics of the back of the mobile is also striking because, although it is made of glass, it has a matte finish that takes us back to the time of the OnePlus 1, which was launched in 2014, especially in the black version. On the front, meanwhile, we find a 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED (LTPO) display with a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It is worth noting that the panel offers a QHD + resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels.
But of course, the new OnePlus 10 Pro doesn’t just boast about its looks. Inside it also comes with several new features that put it on par with other big names in the market.
The OnePlus 10 Pro arrives with the latest from Qualcomm and very interesting features
As we said at the beginning, the technical specifications of the OnePlus 10 Pro were not a secret. The company itself had disclosed almost all of them, and the ones that were missing came to light when the device debuted in China.
The smartphone comes with a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and with two combinations of RAM and storage, with LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 units, respectively: 8/128 GB and 12/256 GB.
In the autonomy section, meanwhile, it boasts a 5,000 mAh battery that, according to OnePlus, can be fully charged in just 32 minutes. This is due to compatibility with the SUPERVOOC wired fast charging up to 80W; and can also be recharged wirelessly thanks to technology AIRVOOC that offers a power of up to 50 W and is capable of taking the battery from 1 to 100% in 47 minutes.
In the connectivity section, meanwhile, the OnePlus 10 Pro supports 5G networks, WiFi and Bluetooth 5.2. It also incorporates an NFC chip and a USB-C connector. On the other hand, it comes with a fingerprint reader on the screen, while when it comes to audio, it stands out for its dual stereo speakers.
As for its dimensions, the mobile is seen to be robust. According to the official data sheet, it measures 163 millimeters high, 73.9 wide and 8.55 thick; while its weight is 200.5 grams.
And as far as software is concerned, there are no major surprises. The OnePlus 10 Pro uses Oxygen OS 12, based on Android 12; And perhaps the most striking thing is how some of the graphic elements of the customization layer are clearly inspired by those of ColorOS, from Oppo, one of its sister brands.
Recall that last year OnePlus had announced that both operating systems derived from Android would merge into one. However, a short time ago the company indicated that this would not finally be the case. However, there is more than clear evidence that both software coexist under the same roof.
Hasselblad camera to make the most of photographic resources
For the OnePlus 10 Pro, the manufacturer has renewed its relationship with Hasselblad for the development of their cameras. The mobile intends to make an impact in the photography section, but not only because of the immense module on its back.
With a main sensor of 50 megapixelsplus its slopes of 48MP (ultra wide angle) and 8MP (telephoto), the Chinese firm is committed to being a benchmark among high-end Android mobiles. For this, it has decided to complete the configuration with a dual dual-tone LED flash and with the color calibration that bears the signature of the iconic Swedish photographic company. As for video, the OnePlus 10 Pro allows you to record up to 8K at 30 frames per second.
On the front, meanwhile, the device incorporates a 32 MP selfie camera, which records video in Full HD (1080p) at 30 FPS. As we saw in its predecessors, it is located in the upper left corner of the front panel.
