Lacuesta red vermouth
In Spain we usually drink vermouth alone or with ice. Sometimes accompanied by other drinks. The point is that we don't dislike it. But The mixture with the rest of the ingredients that make up the Negroni is, without a doubt, spectacular.
For 7.15 euros we have this Lacuesta red vermouth. It is made with herbs and aromatic plants cold macerated in white wine. This mixture is aged in American oak barrels and then added to the base white wine, along with sugar, citric acid, caramel and alcohol. All this gives it nuances and delicious flavors.
