Whoever has an air fryer, has a treasure. Every day I am more convinced of it… and that I was reluctant to have it! But he came into my life and I have never looked back. The truth is that it does not work for everything, like the rest of the electrical appliances, but how well it works with certain preparations. These crispy mushrooms are a good example of this.
It is a very quick and easy recipe, which allows you to have a complete and nutritious vegetarian dish on the table in a short time. You just have to mix the ingredients that make up the crunch, cover the mushrooms with it and put it in the air fryer.
I have covered the base of the basket with parchment paper -to dirty as little as possible-, but the truth is that the next time I do them it will be without it. It blocks the entry of air through the base and it remains tender. If you want it crunchy (without giving up the parchment paper), you will have to turn the mushrooms over and cook for a couple more minutes.
We turn on the air fryer to 200ºCso that it warms up.
Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth or kitchen paper and dry them well. We prepare the crunch mix Beating the egg in a bowl and adding the rest of the ingredients. Stir well to obtain a homogeneous mass.
We cover the mushrooms with it, on both sides, and place them inside the tray of the air fryer, on parchment paper. We program six minutes at 200ºC and ready to serve.
