The healthy habit of printing our memories, our photographs, is being lost. Everything is on memory cards and hard drives with a very short lifespan. If you are also a mobile photographer, you will only see your images on the screen … For this reason it can be very interesting to take a good look at the Instax Link WIDE.
The world of photography is changing by leaps and bounds. The pandemic we are experiencing was catastrophic for all businesses. And now they are trying to recover despite everything. We cannot forget that photographs remember our lives and there are few things more pleasant than a paper copy.
From FujiFilm they have decided to release a second version of the Instant Mini Link that saw the light in 2019. They have improved the product and have released a lighter printer that allows larger 6×9 cm photos to be obtained, with several options that will appeal to the most young and creative.
The new Instax Link WIDE mobile printer
It is a small printer (139 mm x 127.5 mm x 33.7 mm) that allows you to print, by exposing three colors with OLED, as it comes in the manual. Copies are larger than the previous generation and can be printed on FujiFilm Instant Wide instant film.
The operation is very simple. You only need to install the Link Wide application on your mobile, which they have released today, and connect them using Bluetooth. And ready. The program allows you to print all kinds of photographs that you have stored on your mobile.
But not only that, but it is possible to print any document in JPEG, PNG, HEIF and surprisingly DNG format. And the most striking thing, if you want you can associate a QR code with the photograph to record a sound, link to a web page, geolocate the photograph or include a hidden message.
The photos are printed with the classic white border that all of us Polaroid remembers, but we also found film with the black border. And if we want, we can design a collage with all the photographs thanks to the templates that we find in the app.
The price of this new printer is € 149.99 and will be available from October 22, 2021.
