And he is not wrong. The International Labor Organization (ILO) warned that when getting their first job, the 80% of young Mexicans do not have an employment contract and close to 47% do not obtain employment benefits.
“The country needs to promote youth employment through policies and programs whose main objective is to reduce discrimination and achieve the integration of this sector of the population in decent and formal employment,” added Adela Flores in a press release.
The federal government has tried to close this gap by creating the Youth Building the Future program, which links different companies with people between 18 and 29 years old, who neither study nor work, with the aim of giving them a tutor from the business sector. , to help them develop skills in a year that increase their chances of employability.

The average youth unemployment rate in Latin America and the Caribbean reached in the first quarter of 2021 the highest level on record, reaching 23.8%.

40% say they are permanently adapting their home to create a space that contributes to their physical and mental well-being, 49% take nutrition seriously and pay close attention to what they eat, and 43% spend a significant part of their time to leisure activities.
Gen Z in particular has increased environmental awareness and digital hyper-connectivity. In fact, 56% of young people declared being careful with the impact or environmental footprint that they could generate during trips or in daily life, while 26% travel by bicycle and at least 10% use an e-bike more frequently. -scooter to move.
