Beyond the fear that the irruption of the GPT Chat can cause as a potential displacer of humans, the LinkedIn survey shows that it can actually make the work of certain areas easier.
In fact, the report shows that 74% of recruiters expect to automate repetitive tasks like writing job descriptions or personalized messages for candidates.
Another 67% hope to use generative AI technologies to make it faster and easier to find candidates.
A chatbot to write your CV
LinkedIn recently also revealed that it is developing a new Generative Artificial Intelligence tool that will be available only to Premium users. This tool will give writing prompts so that candidates can write their resume, with their profile information, with a more fluid narrative.
“Our tool identifies the most important skills and experiences to highlight in your About and Headline sections, and comes up with suggestions to make your profile stand out,” explained Tomer Cohen, director of products at LinkedIn . “By doing the heavy lifting for you, the tool saves you time and energy while maintaining your unique voice and style.”
This is proof that the arrival of GPT Chat and the like will not immediately displace some professionals, but rather complement their work.
Although, according to Goldman Sachs, the massive adoption of generative AI is expected to have a significant impact on the job market. Mostly by exposing the equivalent of 300 million full-time workers in advanced economies to automation. But the study also indicates that most of the affected positions will continue in their positions, but freed from a good part of repetitive tasks.
