In recent years we have seen several parents name their children in unusual ways. Children who respond to the call of Goku or other anime and video game characters are getting older. In this way, Aaron Greenberg, marketing executive at Xbox, has asked the public not to name their children “Game pass”.
On a talk Between Aaron Greenberg and Pete Hines, Marketing Executive at Bethesda, during Gamescom 2021, a series of quite interesting stories were shared. In one of these, Hines pointed out that not long ago, a person named his son Dovahkiin, after the main character of Skyrim, something that earned you a lifetime bonus of Bethesda free games. Minutes later, Greenberg asked the public not to call his children “Game Pass.” This was what he commented:
“I also ask that no one name their baby Game Pass.”
Considering the story Hines shared, it is very likely that Greenberg issued this comment to prevent characters from seeking a subscription lifetime to Xbox Game Pass. Although this is the intention of some people, it is likely that the regulations of each country prevent someone from bearing the name “Game Pass”.
In related topics, these are the games that will arrive at Games With Gold in September. Similarly, this is the price of the Xbox Series X of Halo Infinite in Mexico.
