Though Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero arrived in theaters in Mexico and Latin America last week, many are wondering when they will be able to enjoy this movie in the comfort of their home through a streaming service. Thus, here we tell you about the arrival of this tape to Crunchyroll.
As you may know, Crunchyroll and Sony were responsible for distributing Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero worldwide, along with this, it was revealed that Toei Animation’s new movie will be available on this service in the future. However, at the moment it is unknown exactly when this will happen. Considering that the industry standard is 45 days after its theatrical release, Gohan and Piccolo’s new adventure is likely to be available on Crunchyroll in late September.
However, 45-day releases usually happen when a certain movie is already available in theaters around the world, something that has not happened with superhero. Currently, several regions are still waiting for the arrival of Goku and company, such as in Spain, the country where this film will be released until September 2.
Thus, it’s very probable that Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero be available on Crunchyroll until October 2022. Along with this, thanks to the fact that Sony has the distribution rights, this opens the doors for more streaming platforms to have access to this tape, like what has happened with the Spider-Man and Venom movies.
Thus, the possibility that Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero eventually be available on Netflix or HBO Max, platforms that have done their best to offer a greater anime offer in recent years. We can only wait for more information in the future. In related topics, here you can check our review of this movie.
