Saryi Carballo is one of the Barrio Nuevo residents who collects rainwater from her home and is also considered one of the “four super-powerful girls” for having worked for nine months in the development of Lata de Agua.
“We work on everything: paint, pipes, (in) everything that can be seen there, our hands are there. We are now the vigilantes of the project, that it is maintained and that everything flows as it should flow,” he said.
