“Wrestling represents Mexico, you can find a wrestler mask anywhere in the world and this is one of those ideas that takes you out of your comfort zone. It is an idea to present wrestling to a tourist and for that, what better place than Cancun”, says the manager.
Guido Benassini, general director of Ventura Entertainment, says that beyond presenting a day of fights in relays or teams of three and rude against technicians, this show tells the story of “El Monarca”, a legendary fighter who was born in the neighborhood from Luchatitlan.

What will wrestling be like in Luchatitlán?
The show, which is immersive and is presented in English and Spanish, will have three fights involving AAA wrestlers, with characters created specifically for this experience, which considers championship and betting fights, as occurs in the ring. .
This forum will also have a restaurant, where classic Mexican dishes will be served, as well as a canteen and a terrace, explains the general director of Ventura Entertainment, a company that also operates some aquariums and mini golf courses.
Initially, the Luchatitlán forum will only be presented in Cancun, although Benassini sees the possibility of taking the project to other tourist destinations such as Cozumel, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallartaeven in the United States, where wrestling has a large number of fans.
“The world of entertainment has always been changing, and now more. People seek to be a part of the show, they are no longer satisfied with just living it, they want to be immersed in the narrative, the market is demanding it and we are betting heavily on it”, declares.
win fans
Luchatitlán is also a platform for AAA World Wide Wrestling to gain fans, even Roldán sees an opportunity to have other lines of business, as is the case with the merchandising of some prominent figures in the sport.
The manager declares that the companies that participate in this sector have focused on promoting sport, which he considers has positioned itself as a cultural reference in the country.
“It doesn’t matter if they are fans or not, we are going to teach them who are the rude, who are the technicians, in a didactic way so that the show is understood, whether or not they have attended wrestling before,” says the general director.
