Companies exempt from the payment of utilities
new companies
Newly created companies, during the first year of operation. That is, from the date of notice of registration or registration in the Ministry of Finance to start operations.
innovative companies
Newly created companies dedicated to the development of a new product during the first two years of operation. The novelty of the product is determined by the Ministry of Economy and not by the company; this agency must prove this fact to the workers.
extractive companies
Newly created extractive industry companies during the exploration period (mainly mining), must also be newly created. When the companies carry out the first production activity, the exception period automatically ends.
humanitarian institutions
Private assistance institutions that carry out acts for humanitarian assistance purposes, without profit and without individual designation of beneficiaries, such as asylums, foundations, among others. They must be recognized by the corresponding secretariat to enjoy said exception.
Public institutions
The IMSS and decentralized public institutions for cultural, welfare or charitable purposes.
Companies with lower income
Companies whose annual income declared for income tax does not exceed 300,000 pesos.

If you did not receive profits, report it to [email protected] or go to the Labor Defense Attorney’s Office for advice.
If you require an inspection visit, go to the General Directorate of Federal Labor Inspection.
