As a saga like the Marvel Cinematic Universe progresses, the multiple elements that are added to it give it more narrative possibilities. And it is the turn of the eighteenth feature film of the franchise since Hombre de Hierro (2008), directed by Sam Raimi; a filmmaker highly esteemed by moviegoers who are crazy about terror and, in addition, gore thanks to Infernal possession (1981), terrifyingly dead (1987) and the army of darkness (1992).
But his new film, in which the British Benedict Cumberbatch takes on the Sorcerer Supreme for the sixth time, it is not the first foray of the American in the superheroic adaptations of Marvel.
