The shares of Volaris, which has become the largest airline in the country by passenger transportation, lost 6.16% to 10.20 pesos.
“Bad report below estimates,” said consultancy MetAnálisis in a note to its clients.
The airline reported a quarterly net loss of $39 million after closing business on Tuesday, despite a 10% year-over-year increase in revenue.
Vector Casa de Bolsa described the report as “negative”, however, it said it continued to see an attractive valuation for the company, which is why it reiterated its “buy” recommendation.
