If you were looking forward to September 24 to finally see Venom: Let There Be Carnage, then we have very bad news for you. In a completely unexpected move, Sony Pictures He announced that the film will take a little longer to arrive, but don’t worry, it’s not that long either.
Instead of premiering on September 24, the sequel to Venom will be available on October 15 this yearthat is, three weeks later. Apparently the new delta variant of the COVID-19 is wreaking havoc in American theaters, which is why Venom: Let There Be Carnage it could be the first of many other movies to be delayed.
At the time of writing, no other film has postponed its release due to this new variant, however there is a very high chance that things like The Eternals, Shang-Chi and even Spider-Man: No Way Home must be displaced by the pandemic. Hopefully that won’t be the case, but moviegoer safety comes first.
