Manchester United confirmed on Tuesday that Raphael varane He will be “out for several weeks” due to the injury he suffered in the Nations League final against Spain.
“Varane suffered a groin muscle injury in the Nations League final and has started his rehabilitation with the club. He will be out for several weeks,” United said in a statement.
Varane had to retire in the final against Spain before the break and he was seen with ice on his right thigh.
The center-back falls off Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans ahead of an important week for the ‘Red Devils’ season, in which United will play Leicester City, Atalanta and Liverpool.
What’s more, his injury joins that of Harry Maguire, who also suffers from a muscle problem and does not yet have an exact date to wear short again.
