Mercedes has announced officially the first electric SUV of the EQE series, which will share a catalog with the sedan announced just a few months ago. The new Mercedes-Benz EQE SUVsSpecifically, it will arrive in 2023, and it will do so with three standard variants that reach 590 km of autonomy and two sports versions with engines of up to 687 hp.
Internally, the new Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV is very similar to the EQE saloon. In fact, both vehicles have the same engines, starting with a version with a single rear-wheel drive engine that reaches 292 hp (215 kW) and also has 656 Nm of torque, allowing a range of up to 590 km. The Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV also has two other twin-engine versions. On the one hand, the 350 4MATIC, with a total traction of 292 CV (215 kW) and 765 Nm, as well as a battery capable of reaching 558 km. On the other, the 500 4MATIC, with 408 hp (300 kW), 858 Nm of torque and a range of 547 km.
These three variants of the Mercedes-Benz EQE are complemented by two versions AMG. The 43 4MATICwhich has a double motor of 476 CV (350 kW) and 858 Nm, as well as a battery of 488 km, and the version 53 4MATIC+. This has an all-wheel drive engine reaches 687 hp (505 kW) and also has 1,000 Nm of torque. Its autonomy, yes, is 470 km. These variants also have 21-22-inch wheels and a sportier interior compared to the standard variants.

The differences, therefore, is in the design of the vehicle itself. The new Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV looks more similar to the EQS SUV, although in this case only has a total of five places. It also has a trunk of 520 liters, or 1,675 liters with the seats folded down.
Inside there is a central touch screen up to 17.7 inches, as well as an instrument panel of up to 12.3 inches. This complements another screen located in the co-pilot area of the same size. The standard version, yes, only has a 10.25-inch panel located behind the steering wheel and a 12.4-inch central touch screen.
The Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV is also compatible with the Dolby Atmos sound system that came to the Mercedes EQS just a year ago. This, moreover, now supports Apple Musicso that those users who purchase this vehicle or the rest of the models compatible with the aforementioned sound system, will be able to play music through the streaming service in a more immersive way.
