Mexico also enjoys a flexible line of credit with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which was recently renewed, at 50,000 million dollars.
The official added that a large part of the public infrastructure projects that are developed are financed with resources from the restructuring and adjustments to the public budget.
“The public budget as we inherited it had a lot of room to dig, we passed the resources with non-productive purposes to other much more productive ones”, commented the head of the Treasury.
Another source of resources are those of development banks through Banobras, Nafin and Bancomext, he concluded.
