However, given the rush to issue this voucher, certain fears prevail due to the consequences that may exist for taxpayers if they cannot have the document this month. So below we tell you 3 truths about the tax record so that instead of worrying you get down to work to meet this requirement.
1.- They will not stop paying you the next fortnight
The proof of tax situation can be obtained throughout the year, it has no deadline, it refers to information from the SAT.
If you did not deliver your tax certificate in May, you will have your payments without a problem, but if you do not want to have problems in July, do it now! Because companies must comply with the obligation of the new invoice as of July 1.
If the company does not have your data contained in the Tax Certificate days before July 1, there will be errors when issuing the payroll receipt, and therefore in the payment.
2.- Digitally without e.signature or password
The best way to obtain your tax certificate is through the internet. And it is not mandatory to have an electronic signature or password. Avoid queuing at the SAT offices.
There are cases of people who have not been able to obtain it because they do not know that only a personal identification (INE, professional license or passport, or current immigration form if you are a foreigner) and an email is enough.
The steps to get it this way are:
- Enter to satid.sat.gob.mx
- Give the option “Proof of tax situation with CIF”.
- Provide your RFC to 13 positions, an email, cell phone number.
- Enter a code that will be sent to you by mail.
- Send photo of your identification on both sides in a jpg file.
- Confirm your identity by recording a video. Saying a phrase that will give you the SAT.
- Review and validate the data.
- Sign the application, with your written signature.
- Your proof must reach your mail in less than 5 business days after the request.
3.- No appointment in offices
If you were not successful electronically, you can personally attend the SAT offices that are closest to your home or your work address.
They are usually open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In order for taxpayers to comply with this obligation, the SAT extended its service hours on Saturday, June 11 and 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
You don’t need to schedule an appointment, you just need a valid official ID and your RFC.
