dollar to peso exchange rate
The exchange rate was listed at 17.5948 pesos per dollar, with a decline of 0.12% compared to the Reuters reference price on Thursday, although during the week it accumulated a return of 0.85%.
“With few economic references in today’s session, traders are watching for stress on regional banks, especially PacWest, and debt ceiling negotiations in the US,” CI Banco said in an analysis note.
At the local level, investors’ eyes began to turn towards the Bank of Mexico’s monetary policy decision next week, with the expectation that it would keep the reference rate unchanged, at 11.25%.
For now, it is expected that for the rest of the session the peso will oscillate in a range of 17.55 to 17.70 per dollar, according to Banco Base analysts.
