A long time ago a report appeared where it was pointed out that Xbox GamePass I would have a family plan in the future. Outside of this statement, no further information has been released. Now recently an insider has shared more details about the date on which this new plan would be available.
According to Brad Sams, an insider who talks about all things Microsoft, the Xbox family plan would be available during the fall season of this year. Unfortunately, at the moment there is no more information about a more specific date, even going so far as to mention that this could change in the future. This was what he commented:
“The family plan, last I heard, was earmarked for a fall release, around the holidays this year. Keep in mind that things change. Many things are on moving timelines. That was the initial goal.”
Although at the moment we do not have an official confirmation, or rumors that speak in detail about the price and the launch date, These new statements support the existence of the Xbox Game Pass family plan. Now we just have to wait to hear something more concrete.
On related topics, PlayStation users would have an Xbox Game Pass subscription just for Activision games. Similarly, Xbox launches a strong blow against the new PS Plus.
Editor’s note:
A family plan is something that could very well be a reality, and it would be mainly focused on keeping the users it has, instead of them creating more and more accounts to take advantage of the offers of this service.
