In the consumer recording you can see the changes that the brand has had over the years.
From its beginnings to today, Oxxo has changed the logo and its emblematic colors.
The recording received various comments from the digital pulse who they were surprised in a good way.
Oxxo is one of the most emblematic brands for Mexicans, which is why many consumers show loyalty to it in any content that they can share through their social networks. A video shared by an Internet user on Twitter showed what the first Oxxo that opened its doors in Mexico looked like.
A study carried out by the statistics platform Latinometrics, indicated that in Mexican territory there are 20,000 Oxxo stores, surpassing even the chains of its competition 7 Eleven.
For its part, Statista indicates that the consolidated income of the retail and beverage company FEMSA in 2019 amounted to 506,710 million Mexican pesos, of which the Coca-Cola FEMSA business unit represented 194,470 million Mexican pesos. For its part, FEMSA’s health division reached a turnover of 58,920 million Mexican pesos.
These data demonstrate the slogan of the brand, as it is “around your life” and it could not be more successful, since today the company is one of those that registers millions of loyal customers not only in Mexico, but also in some Latin American countries.
This is what the first Oxxo looked like
Through a video shared on the social network Twitter, it was possible to see what the first Oxxo opened in Nuevo León, Monterrey, looked like.
The Internet user identified on the social network as @ perritoregio2 shared the recording where it can be seen that the brand is outside that Oxxo store It has various images of what the facilities looked like for the date of 1978, when they first opened their doors to the public.
The store did not have the colors that are iconic of them today such as red and yellow, but it was completely white with small red and yellow stripes.
“The original logo evokes a supermarket cart”, says the plaque where the brand shows its transformation over the years.
Likewise, in the recording the consumer also shows how the brand has evolved to become the one we know today.

The loyalty that a brand can give its customers is earned over time. This is good for businesses because it improves customer retention, strengthens marketing efforts, increases recurring revenue, and can make a company more resilient in the face of increased competition.
Like this example of fidelity with just one social media post, there are many more, as in the case of a consumer who celebrated her birthday with a Coppel theme, or even the boy who did the same but with a Mercado Libre theme, demonstrating the love and loyalty they have for both brands.
