This is the case of an Internet user who opened a debate on Twitter about which wholesale store is better Sam’s Club or Costco, demonstrating how important the consumer experience is for a brand.
Walker details that the customer or consumer experience has now evolved from an interaction between the brand and the client to an important factor in the perception of this, that is why 86 percent of shoppers are willing to pay more for a better customer experience.
Likewise, according to data from various studies, this experience is an intangible value that goes beyond the acquisition of a product or service, and is made up of countless interactions, moments and points of contact between the consumer and the brands.
When a consumer prefers a brand, product or service over others, he is demonstrating that he prefers the experience that this firm is making him live, for which he earned his loyalty.

“I have a Sam`s 6 km from my house, but I definitely prefer to travel more than 40 kms and pay 4 toll booths to go to Costco in Cuernavaca. The variety in assortment and quality of merchandise, in addition to a great difference in treatment and customer service, makes Costco better,” says one of the comments.
“I prefer Costco, the service and quality of their products is better”says another comment.
“Sams has some cheaper products. Costco has some really good apple strudels. I spend more on groceries when I go to Costco,” another tweeter wrote.
“Sam’s undoubtedly lower prices and now that they have the scan and go system that avoids queues, the only company with the service in Mexico”, says another consumer on Twitter.
“Although it is the same concept (membership) they are very different stores, we are going to compare from the bathrooms until you go out to the parking lot. A thousand times Costco !!!”, reads another tweet.
As other Internet users prefer to go shopping at another retail store such as Walmart, Bodega Aurrerá, among others. “None, a traditional supermarket is better,” wrote an Internet user.
This type of debate demonstrates the importance for consumers of the good experience that a brand makes them feel when they use one of its products or services, so they make a good review in the digital world to attract more people to know or consume the brand.
