Gustav Klimt signed some of what are today the most famous paintings in the history of art while he was still alive. In his painting, gold abounds with an ornamental character (another source of inspiration for this year’s Met Gala?), geometric motifs and sensuality. Something that can be seen in his most reproduced work: The kiss. For all those who have been captivated by this or another of his paintings, he arrives in Madrid Klimt: The immersive experience, what it is not an exhibition to the use but a feast for the senses in the style of the one that we recently witnessed with Frida Kahlo.
With this impressive technological exhibition, visitors will not only be able to immerse themselves in the universe of Gustav Klimt but also tour Vienna from the turn of the 19th to the 20th century through more than 1,200 m2 of immersive digital reality screenvirtual reality glasses and other interactive tools.
This is the first large-format immersive production of all those that will be able to be experienced at the MAD Immersive Experience Center, inaugurated on March 4 in Nave 16 of Matadero Madrid with this exhibition that can be visited until September and that more than 15,000 people have already visited.
It is about of the largest center of immersive experiences in Spain and the second largest in Europe. In this space, the latest technology is put at the service of the most innovative cultural and artistic experiences to make them accessible to all types of public.
The tickets for Klimt: The Immersive Experience They can be purchased directly at the box office or on the MAD website. Visits are made Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. having passes every 30 minutes. the price of the general admission is 14.90 euros.
