The wallets (or wallets) of cryptocurrencies have become one of the most used tools today. After all, you need to have one if you want to make transactions with cryptocurrencies throughout the Internet. However, although it is easy to create a strong password to protect our wallets; it is becoming increasingly difficult to store them away from the reach of potential malicious actors.
For this, 1Password app has prepared new features in its latest update. Now the app will allow you to store the keys and addresses of your cryptocurrency wallets. This service was already quite well known for offering this type of protection to other platforms, such as social network passwords and more.
Also, the new 1Password update allows you to store your recovery phrases in a safe way. If you know about cryptocurrencies, you will know that losing your recovery phrase is an experience that you do not wish even on your worst enemy; and this is why the app now includes a way to make it safe.
At 1Password, we want to help protect everything that’s important to you, including your cryptocurrency wallets. We believe that your recovery keys and phrases deserve the same level of protection as your credit and debit card numbers, your medical records, and everything else you have stored in 1Password.

More support for cryptocurrency wallets
1Password now allows padding specially designed spaces for data related to cryptocurrency wallets. Previously there were ways to use the app to store this information, but you had to modify some of the fields to enter the necessary information. However, the support is already native from the service.
In addition, 1Password has announced its association with wallets by phantom. If you don’t know the latter, it is a digital wallet that allows you to manage your cryptocurrencies, tokens and NFTs developed in Solana; the new generation blockchain based on open source.
Now when you create a wallet in Phantom from your browser; you can use your 1Password membership to save password and recovery phrase automatically. This makes it easy to access your wallet and the secure transaction of your digital assets.
This is the first of many partnerships we have been working on in the cryptocurrency space. Our goal has always been to make it easy for everyone, regardless of their tech savvy, to protect everything that’s important to them. And for a growing group of people, that all includes digital assets.

Protect access to your digital assets
Save your recovery phrases on devices without internet connection is the best way to do it; according to cryptocurrency experts. Because of this, many are a bit hesitant to store their passwords with services like 1Password.
However, storing your keys in a password manager as secure as this one is probably a better option than taking a screenshot of the recovery phrase; or worse, save it to an online document in services like Google Docs. Both are quite popular options among cryptocurrency newbies; and this is why now 1Password helps you avoid bad times with the touch of a button.
