After a first announcement in the Asian market under a completely different name, Realme has announced during the Mobile World Congress in 2023 the Realme GT 3its new flagship designed to compete against the most powerful smartphones from manufacturers such as Honor, Xiaomi, OnePlus or Samsung with the fastest charging in the world as a trump card and without skimping on the rest of the specifications.
The new Realme GT 3, specifically, reaches the global market with Qualcomm’s most powerful processor, a completely renewed design compared to its previous generation and with a screen whose frequency can reach 144 Hz. The most important thing, we reiterate, is its charging speed. The terminal It includes a 240W charger that can supply 100% of its 4,500 mAh battery in less than 10 minutes. It also has a system designed to prevent this power from harming the useful life of the battery, being able to maintain capacity at around 80% after 1600 charge cycles.
This charging power is complemented by a first-generation Snapdragon 8+ SoC, a processor slightly inferior in terms of performance to the Snapdragon 8 Gen. 2 that includes smartphones such as the Xiaomi 13, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra or OnePlus 11, and which is accompanied, in this case, with 8, 12 or 16 GB of RAM, as well as internal storage of 256 GB. And speaking of the processor, the Realme GT 3 shows the chip —or at least, appears to show it— on the back of the phone, and this illuminates when GT Turbo mode is activated, which allows you to enhance the general performance of the smartphone to maximize the experience when playing games, or when receiving notifications, calls, etc. The LED light can also be customized in the system settings.
