Razer has presented this Wednesday the Razer Kishi V2, the second version of the well-known control that It allows you to turn any mobile phone into a Nintendo Switch-style portable console. Although this new version is only compatible with Android mobile phones that have a USB-C port, the company assures that, later in 2022, it will also launch a variant compatible with iPhones.
This Razer Kishi V2 takes inspiration from the well-known Razer Wolverine controller for consoles, according to the company in its statement. They highlight, for example, the inclusion of the same high-quality buttons with all-new touch micro-switch controls.
It also highlights the inclusion of a new “Share” button that resembles that of the controls for consoles and allows easy photo or video capture. Also, the Razer Kishi V2 debuts two multifunction buttons that can be programmed to perform specific tasks. These are located next to the triggers.
On the other hand, Razer Kishi V2 arrives accompanied by a new application –Razer Nexus– that, in addition to allowing you to customize some parameters, also acts like a launcher of video games. All the services and titles that we have installed on the phone will automatically appear in this place.
Lastly, the Razer Kishi V2 launches a design with a renewed bridge that facilitates the insertion of any smartphone without impairing the strength of the package. It has also been designed to be quite light (284 grams) and to transmit good sensations in the hand.
The command also has a USB-C port at the bottom that allows charging the mobile device at the same time that we use it. In this way, it is not necessary to stop playing when the mobile battery runs out.
Razer Kishi V2 will be available from today at the official Razer store. Its official price is €119.99. Later in the year, an iPhone compatible version will arrive.
