The event CinemaCon has given much to talk about, as great news has been revealed such as the existence of the sequel for batman, news that moved both adults and children. However, it is not all the news that Warner Bros. brings with it, since the existence of The Nun 2tape located within the universe of The spell.
In fact, this information had already been leaked in a certain way, with one of the stars of the first installment, who made mention of the possible sequel. specifically I went Taissa Farmiga (Vera’s younger sister), who confirmed that it was in discussion to bring this highly requested second part by fans.
There have definitely been rumors and talks in the last year. But the pandemic obviously affected everything, including filming and whatnot. So I heard mentions of that in the fall, maybe, and there was talk of maybe trying to see what my availability was. I haven’t seen a script either. So I haven’t heard anything definitive. I don’t know, but I would love to go back and visit Sister Irene.
The first film of the nun in 2018 grossed over $360 million at the worldwide box office. Considering that level of success, it’s a bit odd that development on the sequel hasn’t been faster. This happened at the time Anabellewhich arrived very shortly after launching The spellalso having its second and third parts shortly after.
The franchise is more alive with the premiere of 2021, The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It. And now that the nun will make its return, it is reason for fans of this demonic collection of sub-franchises from the Warren rejoice. The saga will only go up as long as they are blockbusters.
The release of this upcoming movie is not confirmed yet.
editor’s note: It seems that the quintessential horror franchise today is not going to stop, after all at each premiere the rooms are packed with people who enjoy the adaptations. It would be nice to give the franchise a break, this is a long way from happening until all possible ideas with the characters have been exhausted.
