With this increase, 929,794 formal jobs have been created so far this year, of which 73% are permanent positions and the rest temporary.
“The economic sectors with the highest annual percentage growth were construction with 9%, transportation and communications with 5.5% and commerce with 3.9%,” detailed the IMSS in its statement this Monday.
By federal entity, Nayarit and Quintana Roo stood out with annual increases that exceed 7.0%.
“At the end of October, the average contribution base salary for jobs affiliated with the Institute reached 531.5 pesos,” the agency detailed.
During the reference month, 62,533 positions associated with domestic workers were registered, this means an increase of 10,000 positions compared to 2022.
He added that as of October 31, 2023, the IMSS has registered 1,077,662 patterns, which in its annual comparison represents a rate of 0.8%.
