The new iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro maintain MagSafe, the technology that came with the iPhone 12 and that allows you to attach accessories to the back of the terminal thanks to a magnetic system. Apple has announced alongside the new models a renewed line of MagSafe cases and accessories, including a new MagSafe Wallet which now supports network search.
Users, therefore, they will be able to locate their portfolio through the app “Search”, available on all major Apple devices. It works similar to any other Find My compatible device. If a person loses the MagSafe Wallet and their iPhone is nearby, they can quickly locate it through the map preview or activate directions using an option available in the app.
In the event that it is dropped from the back of the iPhone or lost, and the paired iPhone is not nearby, the wallet will connect to other devices using the Find network. In this way, the chip built into the device will send the last location to the owner so that he can find it.
The MagSafe Wallet comes at a price of 65 euros. It maintains an aesthetic very similar to the accessory announced a year ago. It is made of Genuine Leather and keep the Apple logo on the front. The back also has a hole that will allow you to easily extract the 3 cards that the wallet supports.
Apple announces new accessories for iPhone 13
Beyond the MagSafe Wallet, Apple has announced new MagSafe cases for iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. These are attached to the back and have an animation that works thanks to NFC technology. On the other hand, the rest of the accessories with a magnetic system are maintained, such as the wireless charger with MagSafe, the external battery or the accessories from third-party manufacturers.
The Find My network, meanwhile, continues to grow thanks to the possibility to make compatible devices from third-party manufacturers. Apple, remember, announced the opening of the ultra-wide band, present in the U1 chips, so that those companies that wanted to make their devices compatible. Manufacturers like Belkin, Chipolo and VanMoo already have products that are part of the search network.
