Consumers simply let themselves slide on these conveyor belts in multi-storey stores and, without further ado, ignore the cart for a few seconds, even being able to consult the latest notifications on the mobile, without it crashing.
Well, this daily gesture has now been the center of attention from an Argentine influencer, the tiktoker @lara.neira, who has shared her impressions about it in a video.
In a clip titled Getting to know a Spanish supermarket (despite being in the German chain Lidl and referring, rather, to a supermarket in Spain), he begins by emphasizing that “the trolley stands on its own”, and immediately afterwards adds: “First world”.

According to the manufacturers, the secret is hidden on the same wheelsand it is not precisely its shape that fits in any way with the jagged weave of the tapes, but that the crux of the question lies inside the wheels.
These are usually equipped with a magnet that acts as brake to prevent it from going backwards or forwards when going up or down slopes like these tapes.
