Magda López, CEO of Renault in Mexico, says that the new vehicle could become popular both for use among individuals and among fleets due to its battery range.
He also says that the expectation of selling 2,000 units “is just a number.”
“It is such a new market and it is a clearly new, different, unique product for us, because our previous experience in electric mobility was in commercial vehicles, so it is the first one in which we are going for passenger vehicles,” he adds in an interview with Expansion.
The car will be available in three different colors and a price of 439,000 pesos.
Among its direct competitors is the electric E10X from JAC, which is exactly the same price, according to its website.
