Yesterday a rumor began to circulate where it was mentioned that the next game of Assassin’s Creed will take place in the Aztec civilization. However, it seems that this information is not entirely reliable, as a reliable source has pointed out that the next title in the series will take place in a completely different location.
Given the rumors that began to circulate yesterday, Jason Schreier, a renowned journalist from Bloomberg, pointed out that the next Assassin’s Creed game is riftand will be held in Baghdad. Recall that rumors suggest that the next title in the series began as a DLC for Valhalla, but it eventually became its own installment. This is what he commented on it:
“The next AC game is Rift, which takes place in Baghdad.
After that will come AC Infinity, and while it will include a bunch of different games/experiences/biomes/whatever you want to call them, I’ve heard of the main two and neither of them are Aztec.
After Rift, we would see Assassin’s Creed Infinity, which would function as a platform for the series, and would lead to various adventures. Schreier has mentioned that this installment will include different locations, and he is aware of a couple, but none is inspired by the Aztec civilization.
With a Ubisoft event planned for next September, doubts about the future of the series are likely to be clarified. In related topics, you can learn more about this rumor here. In the same way, here you can check our gameplay of the last DLC of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla.
Editor’s note:
Although I would very much like to see an Assassin’s Creed in pre-Hispanic times, or during the conquest, the direction of the series is not going in this direction, and it is certain that we will return to Constantinople shortly.
