DJI has officially introduced three new products: DJI RS 3, DJI RS 3 Pro and DJI Transmission. The objective with them is to satisfy professionals in the audiovisual world in different fields: from the recording of content in a stabilized way to its live retransmission from kilometers away.
DJI RS3, for its part, is an advanced stabilization system that weighs 1.3 kg and can be held with one hand. Despite this, it is capable of supporting up to 3 kg of weight. This new stabilizer also comes with a redesigned auto-lock system, a Bluetooth shutter button, and a new stabilization algorithm that promises 20% better performance. For focal lenses up to 100mm, in addition, a SuperSmooth mode is offered that further improves results.
The DJI RS 3 also has a new 1.8-inch OLED touch screen from which it is possible to make certain settings, which eliminates the need to resort to a mobile phone in many cases. On the other hand, it has a battery of up to 12 hours of autonomy that can be quickly recharged using the standard power delivery at a maximum of 18 watts of power.
The DJI RS 3 Pro, on the other hand, takes the RS 3 proposal one step further. The arms have been constructed from one piece of uncut carbon fiber making the whole even lighter and stronger. The product weighs 1.5 kg, supports up to 4.5 kg in weight and has been optimized to support professional cameras such as the Sony FX6, Canon C70 or the RED Komodo.
The Pro model also incorporates Ronin 4D’s advanced LiDAR focusing technology that allows cameramen who use this product to focus in a much more effective and simple way. It also has a state-of-the-art Focus Motor that provides three times stronger torque and enables autofocus on manual lenses.
The DJI RS 3 arrive accompanied by DJI Transmission
Lastly, DJI Transmission is defined as DJI’s first independent wireless video solution. This system, according to the company “combines reception, monitoring, control and recording, in one, to take your recording experience to a whole new level”.
For it, is based on O3 Pro transmission technologywhich reaches a maximum distance of 6 km and allows video transmission in 1080p and 60 FPS, as well as audio transmission at 16 bits and 48 kHz.
All these new products can be purchased or reserved starting today at the brand website and at authorized dealers. Prices range from 549 euros for the most basic DJI RS 3 to 1,099 for the most advanced DJI RS 3 Pro. The DJI Transmission, on the other hand, is priced at 2,299 euros.
