Alejandro del Valle has been an Interjet shareholder since July 2020, when an investment of 150 million dollars was announced for the airline, together with businessman Carlos Cabal Peniche. That injection of resources did not materialize.
Later, he became chairman of the board of the company, taking over 90% of the airline’s shares and leaving the Alemán Magnani family with the honorary positions of the company’s founders.
Alejandro del Valle is also the owner of the firm of call-center Telmark-Contact Line and the remittance company Penny Money.
Carlos del Valle del Río, a spokesman for Interjet, has said that the arrest was for issues unrelated to his participation in the airline and that it was due to a matter between individuals and Crédito Real. Alejandro del Valle used a loan with Crédito Real for the acquisition of shares in Radiópolis.
