Since the summer of 2021, the Repsol ‘soletes’ have formed a new category in the gastronomic guide, a benchmark in our country together with the Michelin Guide, which seeks to recognize the value of these more “village” establishments, without so many restaurant aspirations gastronomic but with a loyal clientele who appreciates good treatment, a pleasant space and an unpretentious quality culinary offer, honest and with something special.
As stated Mary Ritterdirector of the Repsol Guide, is something that the users of the guide and the web, friends and acquaintances, were asking for, a selection of places that serve the road traveler as a guide to find spaces where it is worth taking things slowly to regain strength.
Being aware that, most of the time, stops are made in the dark and on the spur of the moment, with more bad memories than positive experiences, the Repsol Guide experts wanted to “identify these more than 300 Soletes de Carretera so that people I could them discover during Easterwhich we are all looking forward to enjoying”.
For this they have been traced sections of highways, motorways and national roads busiest on land trips to put on the map from small traditional bars to service stations, sales, gas stations, cafeterias, eating houses and restaurants that are sometimes difficult to find or that are not advertised, but that well deserve the visit.
The full list of these new road soles It can now be consulted through a practical search engine with a map included, in order to be able to plan the next vacation or work trip. That also in the displacements more by obligation we deserve to eat well.
