Infotec in turn made a payment to a third party of 17.1 million pesos for the adequacy, installation and maintenance of this software to the bank; however, this system has not been installed and bank personnel “do not know its location and existence.”
In addition, the ASF detected that the acquired system does not meet the needs and capabilities required to support the operations of the Banco del Bienestar.
Regarding the inconsistencies in the construction of branches, the ASF found that the cost of 49 branches built had a cost overrun of 2 million pesos.
“In addition, the supporting documentation of the performance of the work consisting of estimates and generating numbers that support the disbursement of the expenses incurred was not accredited,” added the ASF.
The Banco del Bienestar did not verify expenses for the purchase of furniture and equipment for 117.2 million pesos.
