We have heard a lot about the possible new Silent Hill game, as well as a remake of the second installment. With Konami planning a couple of exciting announcements for Tokyo Game Show 2022, many are expecting the iconic horror series to have a presence at this event. Now, a couple of hours ago, a series of images of the supposed remake of silent hill 2
The images that have been leaked show us James Sunderland, the main character, from a camera perspective similar to Resident Evil 2, and the nurses, enemies of the original game. Although this glimpse is of poor quality, famous insider Dusk Gollem has pointed out that this belongs to the proposal of the rumored remake by Bloober Team. This was what he commented on it:
“These are from a Bloober internal presentation demo [Team] before they got the green light, so it’s literally a proof of concept with no budget. This is not really what we will see in the final game.
With this, sources close to VGC have also endorsed this information, noting that this material is not a representation of the work being created, but rather a proposal created by the European studio. Similarly, it has been pointed out that this title would be a temporary exclusive on PlayStation 5 consoles, although it would also have a PC launch at the same time.
As usual, this is just a rumor, and at the moment there is no official information from Bloober Team, Konami or PlayStation about the supposed remake of Silent Hill 2. However, with Tokyo Game Show 2022 just a few weeks away, we could have more information before long. In related topics, images of the supposed new Silent Hill have been leaked. Similarly, the CEO of Bloober Team refuses to talk about silent hill 2
Editor’s Note:
We could be just a few days away from the reveal of the remake of silent hill 2 Considering that this has been one of the strongest rumors in the industry for several months now, and considering that TGS 2022 is just around the corner, this could be more than just a coincidence. However, this can also be false at the end of the day.
