Regarding new flights from the Mexico City International Airport (AICM), the secretary said that, due to the reduction in the cap on hourly operations that will come into effect starting next January 8, not many of the 50 new flights could leave from there. “Right now the policy is to be able to take flights from AIFA,” he added.
The official recalled that the AICM will pass into the hands of the Secretary of the Navy as of next October 8, while a transfer of the Toluca Airport to the Navy is also contemplated for this year – through a new airport group called Casiopea Este. same year–, which they would acquire in their entirety from Aleatica, which has 49% of the shares.
“We are already working on that. We are in talks with Aleatica to see the shareholding part. We are negotiating with them. This year I would become part of Casiopea,” she emphasized.
