Expansion invites businesswomen and top management executives to be part of ‘The 100 most powerful women in business 2023‘, a ranking that tries to give visibility to those women who, from their leadership position, set the course for the business ecosystem in Mexico and promote gender equality and the professional growth of more women.
‘The 100 most powerful women in business 2023’, which will be published in Expansión magazine in March, evaluates the position of the candidates in their company, their participation in the boards of directors of other companies, business organizations, as well as the work that they carry out to promote female talent.
Bases:
- All senior management women (regardless of nationality) who manage a national or foreign company with operations in Mexico participate.
- Participation is free of charge.
- The deadline for receiving the information is December 2.

- The questionnaire must be filled out online to secure the application.

Methodology:
- Hierarchical level and scope (30%). It is valued if the candidate is the owner of a company and/or an executive, as well as her position in Mexico and globally (if applicable).
- Value of the position (30%). With the support of the consulting firm Korn Ferry, the median compensation that an executive can have in the position she occupies is assigned. The salary she receives, the size of the company, the management and the experience required by the position are taken into account.
- Transcendence (30%). It is analyzed if the candidate is part of the board or executive committee of the company where she works, if she is part of the board or committee of other companies, if she is part of other organizations or if she participates in forums, does mentoring or coaching.
- Company size (10%). The total sales of the company and the number of employees are evaluated.
